Walt Disney Animation Studios partnered with Trailer Park Film on the first teaser trailer for Moana.
The trailer set the scene for the animated film by introducing a few of the main characters including demi-god Maui (voiced by Dwayne The Rock Johnson) and titular character Moana in front of the backdrop of the Hawaiian islands. The trailer also highlighted the immense Musical talent behind the film, including Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), Opetaia Foa’i (Te Vaca) and Mark Mancina.
The spots highlight all the fan-favorite characters from the film, as well as the whimsical spirit of the family film.
