Frozen

We were thrilled to introduce viewers to the comic hero who would come to embody much of the movie; humor and heart. The playfully ironic featurette bills Olaf, the film’s center of comic relief, as a full-fledged hero. Our series of short pieces focused on the light-hearted family dynamics in the film, while adding a slightly more mature component to the campaign. The spots were so successful that Disney asked us to combine them into one 55-second piece that received heavy rotation on Bravo.Among the most popular featurettes was ‘Cool Tips’ which gave viewers helpful info on how to Fight the Freeze. The spot, produced by Trailer Park Content, debuted on Disney Channel and was featured across Disney’s International network of broadcast outlets. Using interviews with stars Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, this piece centered on the importance of family. Broadcast on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and other targeted programming that centered on families, the spot was warmly received, especially by adults, proving an effective counterpoint to the otherwise youth-driven campaign. The spots promoted the initial Blu-ray release and the Sing-Along Edition released over the holidays. They featured the memorable characters, comedic moments and heartwarming story. The campaign contributed to the film’s chart-topping success. Frozen later became the top-selling Blu-ray in U.S. history.
